What are the early symptoms of pregnancy?
The proof of pregnancy can be done through pregnancy tests. Other than the test kits a woman’s body gives few signs that shows she is pregnant. About 7 out of 10 women show early symptoms of pregnancy, by time they are 6 weeks pregnant.
If your menstrual cycle varies from month to month and you are not keeping track of your cycle, you may need to consider taking pregnancy test. But if you start to feel some of the early pregnancy symptoms below (not all women get them) and haven't got your period, you may very well be pregnant.
Not every woman has the same symptoms or even the same symptoms from one pregnancy to the next.
You have aversion to eat, have morning sickness and feeling vomiting sensation. This usually starts in the first month of pregnancy. Some women may have it earlier whereas some may never.
A small amount of light spotting is an early signs of pregnancy. That's called implantation bleeding. It occurs anywhere from 6 to 14 days after the egg is fertilized.
Cramps are also observed which resemble menstrual cramps, so some women mistake them and the bleeding for the start of their period. The bleeding and cramps, however, are slight.
Besides bleeding, a woman may notice a white, milky discharge from her vagina. That's related to the thickening of the vagina's walls, which starts almost immediately after conception. Consult a gynecologist immediately.
There will be flood of hormones in the body and this makes the women unusually emotional. Mood swings are very common.
Breast changes are another very early sign of pregnancy. Breasts may become swollen, sore, or tingly a week or two later. The area around the nipples, called the areola, may also darken.
The amount of blood in your body increases during pregnancy, causing your kidneys to process extra fluid that ends up in your bladder. You might find yourself urinating more frequently.
Feeling very tired is normal for pregnant women. A woman can start feeling unusually fatigued as soon as one week after conceiving. It's often related lower levels of blood sugar, lower blood pressure, and a boost in blood production -- can all contribute. Eat foods rich in protein and iron.
If you're usually pretty regular and your period doesn't arrive on time, you may decide to do a pregnancy test before you notice any of the above symptoms. But if you're not regular or you're not keeping track of your cycle, nausea and breast tenderness and extra trips to the bathroom may signal pregnancy before you realize you didn't get your period.
Constipation is due to high levels of hormone progesterone. Progesterone causes food to pass more slowly through your intestines. To ease the problem, drink plenty of water, exercise, and eat plenty of high-fiber foods.
Other symptoms include headache, dizziness, back pain and fainting. There is a lot of change in hormone levels and during pregnancy women are advised to take healthy foods rich in iron and protein.
